Abby Grows!

Long time no post! I’ve been busy prepping/planning for next year! I’m going to plant some garlic and onions this winter for a harvest next summer 🧄🧅 wish me luck!

Here’s an update on my sarracenia that I grew from a rhizome cutting. It got so much bigger since April! 🤩

I forgot to water my fuchsia for a little while 😅 I thought it was dead, but it grew a flower! Whew!

My arugula has a lot of flowers 😱 I think I’m going to chop all of them off!

I got a different strawberry variety this weekend! It’s called Eclair and it’s supposed to be very aromatic 😋🍓

Korichan here! My nepenthes just grew a large pitcher! I can stick my whole arm in it 😱💪

Another plant I got this weekend was a sweet basil plant! 🍃the store didn’t have the one I liked from last year (dolce fresca) so I’m trying a new one this year!

I got some plants today! Here’s the first one: a Bush Goliath tomato! This is the first time I will be growing a big tomato that is not a cherry tomato 😱 wish me luck!

It’s my second peony plant! I’m sad that it won’t grow flowers this year but hopefully it will stay strong and grow flowers next year!

Hi it’s me again! I don’t remember the last time I updated you all on my arugula, but it is BIG! 🥬 It tastes yummy on dishes such as avocado toast or by itself as a salad 🥗

What a happy day today! I got a Sarah Bernhardt Peony to add to my collection 🌸 And I got my favorite cherry tomato variety Sweet Million! 🍅

Happy Fuchsia Saturday! I went to Fred Meyers bright and early today and got some free dirt after purchasing a Pink Marshmallow Fuchsia 💕

Sadly, this peony plant doesn’t have any buds on it 😢 I’m happy it’s still alive though!

Hi everyone! I’m back! Hope you enjoyed Korichan’s posts last week 🐑 Today I’m sharing with you something that I grew last week! 🌱 I grew soybean sprouts from the seed, and I cooked them and made one of my favorite korean side dishes 😋

I saw some trillium in the forest! 🤩

I found a really nice spot in between these trees that made me glow! ☀️ #nofilter

This tree is named Parson Jones! It is the tallest tree in the grove standing at 310 feet tall! 😮 It’s also the tallest tree that I have ever seen in my life and I had to look all the way up to see the top 🌲

It’s time to show you one of the coolest parts of the trip! Seeing the Redwood trees at the Armstrong Redwood State Natural Reserve 🌲 I took lots of pictures here so stay tuned for more 🤗

Just wanted to give you all another update on my sarracenia rhizome cutting! It’s even bigger now! 🤩

I heard @ikodot808 couldn’t see the new growth point in my previous post so I took another picture of it now that it’s bigger! It’s the red stuff poking out on the left side!

I have a secret…2 weeks ago, I noticed that my Leah Wilkerson sarracenia had rhizome rot 😱 I was too sad to share about it back then. BUT to try and save the plant, I cut out the rot and divided it into 4 separate plants. One of them was just a piece of rhizome that had no growth points, but I’m happy to report that yesterday it grew one! If you zoom in really close you can see a little red nub!
